Basketball Recap: Fairview Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Fairview lost to Reeves back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Fairview Panthers came out on top against the Reeves Raiders by a score of 63-51. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Reeves still got an impressive performance from Christian Williams, who went 11 for 18 on his way to 27 points in addition to five boards and three blocks. That's the most points Williams has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hakeem Jenkins, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Reeves, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11.

Fairview has already played their next game (against Bolton Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Reeves wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 83-65 loss against Pitkin on the 31st.
