Volleyball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cordova had lost five straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 5-18 to make it six. They fell just short of the Antelope Titans by a score of 3-2. The Lancers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

As for Antelope, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 2-14 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since October 22, 2024.

Antelope was led to victory by Bhavana(Palvie) Kaur and Emma Rumsey. Kaur had 17 digs and 13 assists, while Rumsey had eight digs and three aces. Those 17 digs gave Kaur a new career-high.

Cordova and Antelope could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Lancers (ranked 1184th) will meet West Park (ranked 85th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Antelope will take on McClatchy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (1177 vs. 375).
