There's no place like home for James F. Byrnes, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 70-47 margin over the Spartanburg Vikings on Tuesday. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Azaria Sims, who posted 13 points and three steals. Sims is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Sainvil, who put up 11 points.

James F. Byrnes has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points over those games. Spartanburg now has a losing record of 13-14.

James F. Byrnes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-49 defeat against Blythewood on the 20th. Spartanburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
