After losing to Freeport the last time they met, Boylan Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Boylan Catholic Titans managed a 54-48 victory over the Freeport Pretzels on Friday.

Several Pretzels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kazion Morehead, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kal-El Sims, who went 5 for 7 en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

Boylan Catholic's win bumped their record up to 4-23. As for Freeport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rockford Auburn the next time they take the court. Freeport will host Rockford Auburn at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Boylan Catholic will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
