Baseball Recap: La Villa Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

La Villa had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Progreso on Tuesday. The La Villa Cardinals put the hurt on the Progreso Red Ants with a sharp 19-9 victory. The Cardinals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Andrew Gonzalez was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jae Rivera, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
