Tishomingo County took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Colbert County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tishomingo County Braves won by a run and slipped past the Colbert County Indians 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Braves, who have now won three contests in a row.

Tishomingo County's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Colbert County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tishomingo County will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Shannon at 5:00 p.m. on March 20th. As for Colbert County, they are taking a road trip to take on Sheffield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Colbert County is facing Sheffield at the right time seeing as Sheffield is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
