Texas high school girls basketball: Playoff brackets, schedules, times for all six classifications

Games are underway across the state.
High school girls basketball playoffs are underway in Texas. UIL state championships in all six classifications are set for March 3-5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. See the brackets for each classification below.
Defending 6A champion
DeSoto (26-2) is ranked No. 4 nationally in the MaxPreps Top 25 while defending 5A champion
Cedar Park (29-0) is No. 13.
Duncanville (31-6), which opened the season at No. 1, could meet DeSoto in the Region 2 final. Duncanville tipped things off Monday with a 69-39 win over Temple while DeSoto opens play on Tuesday.
Other defending state champions include
Canyon (4A),
Brownfield (3A),
Lipan (2A) and
Dodd City (1A).
