ALA - Ironwood hadn't done well against Odyssey Institute recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The ALA - Ironwood Warriors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Odyssey Institute Minotaur. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Minotaur walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

ALA - Ironwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 25-9, 25-15.

Jayda Dominguez had an outrageously good game as he had 23 digs and two aces.

Dominguez wasn't the only good server: ALA - Ironwood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Odyssey Institute only four aces.

The victory made it two in a row for ALA - Ironwood and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. As for Odyssey Institute, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.

ALA - Ironwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against St. John Paul II Catholic on the 12th. As for Odyssey Institute, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Highland Prep on the 11th.
