Volleyball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cornwall Central Dragons. If the Middie Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Dragons when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-8.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 1-14-1. As for Cornwall Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 34-5-4.

Looking ahead, Middletown will square off against Valley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cornwall Central, they will host Goshen Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
