Recap: Buhach Colony Thunder vs. Patterson Tigers
This season hasn't been kind to The Buhach Colony Thunder, who are still winless after their tenth match. They were dealt a 63-2 defeat at the hands of Patterson on Friday. Buhach Colony was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-2.
Leading Patterson to victory were Jeremiah Lugo and Max Medina. Lugo gained 182 total yards and four touchdowns, while Medina threw for 384 yards and six touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Lugo hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Cozart, who picked up 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Buhach Colony's loss was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-1 Sonora and 7-3 Gregori (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 67.9% over those games). As for Patterson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Buhach Colony does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Patterson also has no future games currently scheduled.
