Bishop gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the La Jolla Country Day Torreys with a sharp 22-1 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Torreys recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Sydney Mafong and Jessica Yao made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Mafong pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, Yao pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. At bat, Mafong went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three doubles, and four RBI, while Yao scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
