Baseball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Comes Up Short

Conemaugh Valley lost against United back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Jays took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Logan Heinlein was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Conemaugh Valley's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for United, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, United will take on Bishop McCort at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crushers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. Conemaugh Valley will be paying especially close attention to United's match: after United faces off against Bishop McCort, they'll take on Conemaugh Valley again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
