South Elgin waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Bartlett Hawks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Camryn Boyd paced South Elgin's offense, picking up six kills. Boyd got some help from Paige Genke and her 13 assists. Genke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

South Elgin's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Bartlett, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

South Elgin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sycamore on the 20th. As for Bartlett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Vernon Hills on the 20th.
