Volleyball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the McLaurin Tigers. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

While Richland ultimately came up short, they really made McLaurin work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 26-24.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McLaurin, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McLaurin, they will challenge Riverside at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
