Softball Game Preview: Foreman Gator Arkansas vs. Ashdown Panthers

The Foreman Gator Arkansas and the Ashdown Panthers, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Foreman put up the most runs they have all season last Monday. They had just enough and edged out Mount Ida 21-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gator Arkansas have posted since April 11, 2025.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ashdown duked it out with Lafayette County last Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Cougars. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season.

Ashdown's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Foreman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
