Soccer Game Preview: Burrell vs. Freeport

The Burrell Bucs will take on the Freeport Yellowjackets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Burrell sitting on three straight wins and Freeport on 17.

Burrell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Mt. Pleasant get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. It was an even better day for Mckenna Miller as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Freeport was able to grind out a solid win over Quaker Valley on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Burrell's victory bumped their record up to 12-6-2. As for Freeport, their win bumped their record up to 17-1.
