Basketball Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

Reading was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Concord Yellowjackets an easy 55-30 victory. The matchup marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Reading's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Concord, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reading and Pittsford will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Concord, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hanover-Horton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hanover-Horton will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Concord surely won't give up without a fight.
