Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. North Royalton

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out to take on the North Royalton Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Roosevelt managed to keep up with GlenOak until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rough Riders lost 4-0 to the Golden Eagles.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, North Royalton was not quite Twinsburg's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. North Royalton have struggled against Twinsburg recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3. As for North Royalton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-3.

Roosevelt suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to North Royalton in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Rough Riders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
