Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Seacrest Country Day walked away with it. They took down the Victory Christian Academy Storm 53-39 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Stingrays, who have now won six matches in a row.

Seacrest Country Day got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dragana Scepanovic out in front who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave Scepanovic a new career-high. Dailin Delgado was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Despite the loss, Victory Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Bianca Barroso, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Barroso continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jade Grier, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds.

Seacrest Country Day's record is now 22-5. As for Victory Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.

Looking ahead, Seacrest Country Day will challenge Keswick Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Keswick Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Victory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
