Soccer Game Preview: Master's Academy vs. Geneva

The Master's Academy Patriots will take on the Geneva Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Master's Academy heads in on the heels of a playoff contest last Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to Pine. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Geneva kept a clean sheet against Circle Christian last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Centurions as they made off with an 8-0 win. Considering the Knights have won seven matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Circle Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Camila Cabito led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Geneva has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 53 goals over those nine contests. As for Master's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 16-3.
