Football Recap: Catholic Crusaders vs. Fredericksburg Christian Eagles
Catholic kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles.
Trip Blalock had an outrageously good game for Fredericksburg Christian as he threw for 264 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Nate Caesar was Blalock's top target, picking up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catholic will take on Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they will face off against St. Anne's-Belfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
