Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Bears vs. Taylor Griffins
Roosevelt lost to Taylor back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to the Griffins.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sean Hickey, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine assists. Thanks to that strong game, Hickey now owns an excellent 45.3% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Briones, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.
Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Taylor, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.
