Volleyball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Cougars vs. Scott Eagles

Calvary Christian is 1-9 against Scott since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Cougars will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Calvary Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Calvary Christian hadn't beaten Villa Madonna on the road since August 19, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Cougars blew past the Vikings 3-0.

Meanwhile, Scott didn't have quite enough to beat West Jessamine on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Calvary Christian, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.

Calvary Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Scott in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
