Basketball Recap: Patrick Henry Academy Takes a Loss

Patrick Henry Academy lost against Cathedral Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patrick Henry Academy Patriots took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cathedral Academy Generals. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Generals are ranked 99th).

Despite the loss, Patrick Henry Academy still got an impressive performance from Rowen Croft, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Daivon Glover was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Patrick Henry Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Cathedral Academy, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry Academy and Calhoun Academy will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Cathedral Academy, they will be playing at home against Pee Dee Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
