Soccer Game Preview: Polytechnic vs. Ellison

The Polytechnic Parrots will head out on the road to square off against the Ellison Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Polytechnic came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Chaparral, falling 5-0. Polytechnic's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Ellison was not quite Southwest's equal in the second half on Thursday. They lost 4-1 to the Raiders.

Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Ellison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
