Volleyball Recap: Lawndale Comes Up Short

Lawndale and Brea Olinda squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lawndale had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0.

While Lawndale was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Brea Olinda's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 29-27.

Lawndale's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Brea Olinda, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.

As of now, neither Lawndale nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
