Volleyball Recap: Lincolnwood Comes Up Short

Lincolnwood and North Clay squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lincolnwood had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

Tori Elvidge paced Lincolnwood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Elvidge got some help from Zarah Guzman and her 20 assists. Finally, Elvidge was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Lincolnwood's loss dropped their record down to 18-18. As for North Clay, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-23 record this season.

Lincolnwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Clay, they will challenge Carlyle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
