Nimitz won the last time they faced Irving and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Tigers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Nimitz's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Irving, they dropped their record down to 4-14-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Nimitz will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
