Bel Air can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the El Dorado Aztecs 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Highlanders have posted against the Aztecs since March 21, 2019.

Bel Air's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Julian Ponce, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another was Diego Ramirez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Bel Air's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 8-11-1. As for El Dorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
