Chiles came tearing into Thursday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crestview Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Timberwolves also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2019.

Chiles' got stronger as the match went on, holding Crestview to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-7.

Lindsay Smith paced Chiles' offense, picking up 16 kills. Smith got some help from Natalie Gibson and her 27 assists. Eva Goodson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Crestview's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kelsey Griffin, who had 16 digs and two assists, and Sara Robinson-Harmer, who had four aces. Griffin has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 18 times she's played.

Chiles' win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Crestview, they dropped their record down to 13-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Chiles nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
