Sarasota Christian lost to Canterbury back in November of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Sarasota Christian Blazers had just enough and edged the Canterbury Crusaders out 2-1.

Sarasota Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those eight matches. As for Canterbury, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Sarasota Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Bell Creek Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bell Creek Academy is coming into the game with three straight wins on the road, so Sarasota Christian will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Canterbury, they will take on Admiral Farragut at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
