Oak Hills waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Lakota West Firebirds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-5 on April 2nd.

Oak Hills' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Lakota West, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oak Hills is set to take on their familiar foe Sycamore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lakota West will face off against rival Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
