Meanwhile, Holy Cross got the win against Beechwood last Tuesday by a conclusive 13-4.
Evie Thomas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Thomas was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

Holy Cross is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. However, it's not like Holy Cross struggles in that department as they've averaged .327. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
