North Creek comes up short despite Romen Jackson's strong performance

Recap: North Creek Jaguars vs. Redmond Mustangs
If the North Creek Jaguars were feeling good off their 80-58 takedown of the Inglemoor Vikings last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. North Creek took a 71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Monday. North Creek was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why North Creek lost, one person who can't be blamed is Romen Jackson. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. Cris Bonicillo was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
North Creek's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Redmond, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-11.
North Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Redmond will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Si will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak alive.
