Port Huron Northern is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They skirted past Fraser 59-57. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Marysville had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Sterling Heights Stevenson by a score of 53-45 on Friday.

Marysville's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Port Huron Northern, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Port Huron Northern took their victory against Marysville in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 43-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Port Huron Northern since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
