Softball Game Preview: Union Bears vs. John Battle Trojans

The Union Bears will challenge the John Battle Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Union didn't have quite enough to beat J.I. Burton and fell 7-5.

David Crockett typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday John Battle proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pioneers, sneaking past 7-5. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly two runs.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for John Battle, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Union was able to grind out a solid victory over John Battle in their previous matchup on April 1st, winning 11-7. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
