It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Leroy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Jackson Aggies 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bears have posted against the Aggies since April 9, 2021.

The team relied heavily on Tim Parnell, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Andrew Mauldin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Leroy's win bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Jackson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
