Softball Recap: Coolidge Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Coolidge was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Abbott Panthers, falling 16-1. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Coolidge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Abbott, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

While Coolidge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
