Recap: Silas Rams vs. Stadium Tigers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bonney Lake, the Silas Rams were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 victory over Stadium. That's another feather in the cap for Silas, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Silas found their leader in underclassman Annique Smith, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Smith has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Aminah Mahmoud was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Silas' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Stadium, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-8.

Silas will take on Curtis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Curtis comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Stadium, they will be playing at home against Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Lakes' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
