Volleyball Recap: Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alleghany Cougars.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Alleghany, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dan River on the 30th. As for Alleghany, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against James River on the 27th.
