Basketball Game Preview: Tenor vs. Hmong American Peace Academy

Tenor will square off against Hmong American Peace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tenor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.1 points per game this season.

Tenor will head into Tuesday's match after some sweet revenge against Eastbrook Academy: Tenor made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Eastbrook Academy, but still couldn't quite topple them. Tenor blew past Eastbrook Academy 87-63 on Tuesday. Tenor has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 24 points or more this season.

Tenor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anton Bounds, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Bounds is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Shane Emanuel was another key player, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Hmong American Peace Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 53-34 bruising from University Lake/Trinity Academy back in December of 2024.

The win got Tenor back to even at 4-4. As for Hmong American Peace Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
