Softball Recap: Victory Christian Falls Short of Appalachian in the Playoffs

Victory Christian and Appalachian squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Victory Christian had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-6 loss back in March.

Victory Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Appalachian, they pushed their record up to 21-10-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Victory Christian has already played their next game, a 16-2 win against Ragland on the 28th. As for Appalachian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 victory against Jefferson Christian Academy on the 28th.
