Basketball Recap: Ramah Takes a Loss

Ramah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Bosque Bobcats 81-23. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-17.

Bosque found their leader in sophomore Josiah Wilson, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 21 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. The matchup was Wilson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Tumolo, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Ramah's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bosque, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Ramah will host Quemado at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Bosque, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bosque Bobcats take on the Walatowa Charter Cougars at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Bosque is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season.
