Volleyball Recap: Union Star Takes a Loss

Union Star lost against Rock Port back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Blue Jays, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-12, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Tatum Vogler, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 11 matchups.

Union Star's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Rock Port, they pushed their record up to 19-5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Union Star will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maysville at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Rock Port, they will take on West Platte at 12:00 p.m. on the 11th.
