Basketball Recap: Blazer's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Blazer put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Boyd County Lions by a score of 82-69. That's more bragging rights for the Tomcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Blazer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Clarke, who shot 4-for-4 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Clarke's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Smith, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 boards.

Blazer's record is now 4-0. As for Boyd County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Blazer will take on Powell County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boyd County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Maryville at 3:30 p.m.
