Columbia dropped their record down to 6-10 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-0 to the La Center Wildcats. Considering the last time the Bruins couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for La Center, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Considering they have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For La Center's part, Austin Aseph looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Aseph has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, La Center got a massive performance out of Caden Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Brannan, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

While Columbia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
