Latta is a perfect 5-0 against Vanoss since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Latta is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.
It was a proper cat-fight when Latta challenged Coleman on Monday. The Panthers blew past the Wildcats 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Landon Fortner was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kane Dildine, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Latta was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coleman only posted a batting average of .143.
New Lima typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Vanoss proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Falcons/Falconettes with a sharp 8-2 victory.
Tagus Ledgerwood made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Ledgerwood was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Owen Sheppard, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two doubles. Chance Brown was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
Latta's record now sits at 18-2. As for Vanoss, their record is now 6-9.
Latta got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Vanoss by a conclusive 14-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
