Soccer Recap: Marshall County Comes Up Short

If Marshall County was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Paducah Tilghman on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marshals fell just short of the Greenwood Gators by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Considering the last time Marshall County couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Marshall County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3-1. As for Greenwood, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-2.

Coming up, Marshall County will host Trigg County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenwood, they will venture away from home to challenge Bardstown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
