If Wachusett Regional was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Nashoba Regional on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mountaineers fell 3-1 to the Concord-Carlisle Patriots on Monday. The Mountaineers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-23, 25-14.

Julia Langhill paced Wachusett Regional's offense, picking up 15 kills. Langhill got some help from Grace Coppolino and her 34 assists. Coppolino was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Wachusett Regional's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Concord-Carlisle, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.

Wachusett Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Nipmuc Regional on the 22nd. As for Concord-Carlisle, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Wayland on the 21st.
