Basketball Game Preview: Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs vs. Paul VI Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs will get right back to it and host the Paul VI Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. The timing isn't great for Rumson-Fair Haven: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Paul VI has snatched up nine consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.

Rumson-Fair Haven is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Shore Regional 61-38 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Paul VI earned a 63-53 win over Saddle River Day on Thursday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Rebels are ranked 30th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Rumson-Fair Haven back to even at 6-6. As for Paul VI, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.
